Three years ago my daughter Emery found a helpless baby squirrel on the sidewalk of a really busy road near her school. Her eyes were still closed she was skinny and dehydrated. Just in case anyone needs a little piece of squirrel love today….When Emmy and her brother Oscar came to me orphaned and rescued it was because they had fallen out of a construction site by 19 feet. Her brother Oscar landed on the helmet of a construction worker which broke his fall. Emmy, on the other hand, fell the full 19 feet.
